Michael recorded chamber band NOW Ensemble on location at Penn State for the commercial release of the opera A Marvelous Order, which tells the story of notorious NYC urban planner Robert Moses and his legendary counterpart, Jane Jacobs.

When the world premiere performance was canceled due to COVID-19, the group’s week-long residency was transformed into an ambitious recording session (with the help of Michael’s mobile rig), with the goal of recording the two hour opera for a forthcoming commercial album release.
